"LET THERE BE LIGHT" and a few other things!

Oh, how exciting the little things are. This week many little things were added to the house. The light fixtures were put in along with all the outlet and switch covers. The tile in the master bath was put in along with all the faucets. The shutters were finally put on after sitting in the garage for a while. We met with the landscaper this morning and discussed plants for the front yard. The back yard was also graded and more trees were cleared. Now we have a decent size back yard. The kids were already running around. Yippi!!!! One really nice thing is the driveway and sidewalk are now poured. Now we don't have to walk through the dirt to get into the house. We are 23 days and counting down. We are so excited!!!! Here you can see the shutters, new driveway and sidewalk.

I thought this looked funny. It's all our air conditioning units with boxes over them. I guess the air conditioners got cold!

We have walls and Cabinets!!!

We are getting closer to completion. We are a month away from being into our house. This past week we found out that we will be having our final walk through on February 19th and then closing on Feb 23rd. We feel so blessed to be able to build in this time of ours lives and we are still in a little bit of disbelief that it is happening. Zackery was running and fell down on the dusty floor. He had dust all over his clothes and face. But it didn't slow him down.

This happened the second time that Zack fell down while he was running around in the house. We have now officially had our first accident in the house. Anybody, have any good suggestions on how to slow a boy down!!!!

We Have Brick!!!

We have brick on the front of the house! Yippi!!!! This weekend they put drywall on the inside, but I haven't been able to take pictures yet. They will be coming soon!
This picture they had finished more of the trim work. If you look through the garage you can see the pink insulation inside.

The siding was in process in this picture, but it is all done now.
