Updates on the house

Well, praise the Lord there is something to show. We are starting to see the beginnings of our basement. We are so excited, because now we feel that there is something really happening and something to show besides just the land. This picture was taken at night so it is a little hard to see. But this is the beginning of the basement.

A day at the park

Here is another park adventure. We enjoyed the beauty that God created. It was such a beautiful day.

It's funny to me how we are always in pants and jackets and Billy is in shorts and short sleeves. Crazy!!!

This picture was taken right before he got a splinter in his finger. He didn't cry, just showed me his pointer finger with a concerned look on his face. BOYS!!!!!!

When I took this picture he kept turning around to make sure that I was following close behind.

Zackery's Birthday

I can't believe it, but Zackery is growing out of his baby stage. He is becoming a little man. We celebrated his second birthday. He wasn't sure about opening his presents. He knows that normally he is not supposed to rip things and couldn't figure out why we were wanting him to rip the paper. When he saw what was inside he got very excited. His sister kept begging to help, but he eventually got it on his own.

He was so funny trying to blow out his candles. He tried, but he didn't blow hard enough. Abigail jumped in and helped him out.

Here he is playing with one of his new toys. It is the LeapFrog frig magnet. It has a boat,train, car, fire engine, and airplane. It makes a lot of noise, but he enjoys playing with it.

The other toy that he got was a choo choo. He loves his choo choos.

For some reason the pictures got out of order when I downloaded them. Here is Zackery opening up the presents that he got. From Mommy, Daddy and big sis.

IT HAS BEGUN!!!!

Well it has finally begun. With lots of delays we have finally seen some progress on our house. There isn't a whole lot to see yet, but it is definitly a big deal. On Oct 17th they cleared the trees from our lot where the house will be. Last Thursday (Oct 30th) they started digging out the basement. We are so excited and blessed. With the way the economy is going we feel very blessed to be able to build. Abigail can't wait until she can have her pink and purple room. The kids look so small.
You can't really tell in this picture, but there is a hole. The grey part where Billy is standing is where the garage will be. To the right and back of the picture is a more brownish dirt and that is where the basement is.

I am standing in the hole. When I took this picture it was only about 3 ft deep. It is a lot deeper now, but I don't have any pictures of that.

I took this picture because (well Abigail wanted me to take a picture of her) but also because it shows what is across the steet. They can't build directly across from us and if you go through the woods it is church property. We have visited that church. We like the fact that it is really really close. We also really like the church (which is more important).

This picture was taken before they started digging the basement. They had just cleared the lot. If you look really closely you can see Billy and the kids in the woods.
